Write a letter to your city council to clean the city.
Write the following:
• what the council can do to make the city clean
• what the public can do to make the city clean
• how it will benefit the community of the city
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Yash Mehta, a resident of Old Brook colony, Milton Keynes, and am writing this to provide some valuable suggestions in order to clean our city.
Unfortunately, the city is contaminated by many tourists due to the last football event on 31st December. I would like to suggest the management, firstly, to clean the main roads as they are covered with garbage. Another task that council’s cleaning team can do which is clean bushes and gardens, especially collect all litters and bottles.
Of course, my other fellow residents, other citizens and I will surely be helpful to you. What we can do to tidy the city is that we will gather all kind of garbage and put into several bins and clean the residential roads surrounding our colonies. Also, I have spoken to MK city college chairperson, and he has agreed to help us by sending some students for these activities.
This would surely be helpful to our community as in many ways. This rubbish is the key factor to develop some harmful diseases. By cleaning this, not only we can maintain our good health, but we can also save children from the diseases. Also, clean city would be beneficial to attract many other tourists and our community can generate revenue from it.
I hope you find the above solutions worthwhile for execution of clean city. I look forward to receiving your response.
Yours faithfully,
Yash P Mehta
