The chart illustrates the data of two different groups in one European country with respect to their monthly household income and expenditure on multiple items.
Overall it can be seen that the expenditure of people is divided into two groups known as Low-income group and High-income group, covering expenses like food, fuel, clothing recreational activities and so on.
Firstly, Food and Drink with 29% are a major part of the budget for the low-income public, followed by Fuel which is unexpectedly at second place with 24%. Secondly, Miscellaneous covers almost 18% of the overall bill, further Recreational and Cultural activities stands out at 11%. Lastly, Clothing, Transportation, and restaurants are below 10%.
The high-income group spends most of its budget on miscellaneous and Recreational activities with more than 25%. On the other hand, restaurants, hotels, and eating items are below 15%, whereas Transportation is just ahead of the latter with 16%. For clothing and fuel the budget really low and impressive with less than 10%.
