The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
The pictures illustrate the changes that have occured in an island before and after some tourist facilities are built.
Overall, it is obvious that this area has undergone a number of significant changes, some of the most dramatic of which are the construction of accomodation, restaurant as well as swimming catering for recreational purpose. Additionally, these innovations have no adverse impacts on natural resources of the island.
Before the renovation, there were only beaches and trees on this island and most of the places were empty. After being constructed, small huts have been constructed so as to accommodate the tourists to the island. Another striking change is the construction of a reception in the middle, and a restaurant in the north of the reception. It is interesting to note that trees haven’t been chopped down to make way for new facilities.
Moreover, beside the addition of many buildings, a pier, where boats can dock, are erected. Additionally, there is a swimming in order to meet the tourists’ needs. A notable change has been the introduction of footpaths connecting with the huts and a vehicle track, which link the reception with the mentioned pier and the restaurant.
