To begin with, in 1999, in terms of selling coffee, Switzerland was ahead of its counterparts with 3 million euros. Thence, Denmark ranked second with 18 million euros, and it was followed by the UK (1.5 million euros), Belgium (1 million euros), and Sweden (0.8 million euros). Moreover, when it comes to selling bananas, Switzerland was at the top of the list with 15 million euros. After that Denmark was the second provider of bananas with 2 million euros. Following that, Sweden (1.8 million euros), the UK (1 million euros), and Belgium (0.6 million euros) were providing people with bananas.
By contrast, in the year of 2004, the aforementioned figures underwent some changes. In terms of selling coffee, the UK and Switzerland ranked first and second with 20 million euros and 6 million euros respectively. Furthermore, Denmark and Belgium and Sweden had sales of coffee about 2 million and 1.7 million and 1 million euros respectively. Moving to the sales of bananas, Switzerland was the main provider with 47 million euros and it was followed by Belgium (4 million euros), the UK (5.5 million euros), and Denmark (0.9 million euros).
To sum up, in 1999 and 2004, Switzerland and the UK were the chief providers of bananas and coffee.
