The illustration show how chocolate is produced.
The diagram details different steps needed to produce chocolate from cacao trees.
A closer look at the process shows that there are 10 stages to making chocolate, beginning with preparing ripe red pods and ending with production liquid chocolate.
The whole chocolate production starts when ripe red pods which are grown in South America, Africa or Indonesia are collected from cacao trees. After that, they are harvested and white cocoa beans inside are used after stripping the covers. Next, beans are fermented together then spreaded outside to dry by the sun. When this has been done, it is divided equally and put in separated sacks.
Once this particular stage has been completed, beans are transported by several transportation include trains, lorries, or ships before being stored in the factory. Following this, beans are carried out and roasted in the microwave at about 350 degree. After a period of time, the outer shell of beans are barked then the inner are crushed by machine. In the end of this manufacturing stage, the machines will press the inner part of beans to make liquid chocolate and the process has been completed.
