The line graph compares how many grams of fish and other forms of meat were consumed in a European country from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, there was a decrease in the consumption of Beef, Lamb, and Fish with Beef witnessing the most dramatic decline, while the figure for Chicken saw a moderate rise during the period. In addition, Fish consistently had the lowest figure among the years examined.
About 200 grams of Beef was consumed per week in 1979, with a subsequent fluctuation, and a final drop from nearly 250 grams in the 1980s to just over 100 grams in 2004. The figure for Chicken saw an opposite trend., It started at just under 150 grams in 1979, after which it experienced a gradual rise to reach a peak of approximately 250 grams, before ending the period at about 247 grams.
The consumption of Lamb was 150 grams in 1979, followed by a marginal decline to just over 50 grams in 2004. A similar trend was seen in the figure of fish, it hovered around 50 grams and a final decline to under 50 grams.
