Some people today believe that it is acceptable to use physical force to discipline children, but others feel it is completely unacceptable
Corporal punishment has currently been being a controversial and much debated issue. While a section of the public holds the opinion that adopting physical forces to monitor children is an apporpriate method, others claim that this is highly unacceptable. From my perspective, I reckon that these ways cannot prove their effectiveness
Firstly, there a numerous justifications which culminate in the fact that physical forces are the worst way to keep their scions discipline. To begin with, parents who support those ways of education tend to physically punish their offsprings for wrongdoings without explaining or guiding them to alternative positive behaviors. As a result, they have to tell lies in order to avoid punishment or they would view punishment as an endorsement of aggression. Moreover, corporal punishment may also provoke feelings of resentment or humiliation, hence, children may develop unfeeling atitudes towards others' pains.
By contrast, many may believe in its mild application. For instance, physical forces are effective in achieving immediate child compliance or in other situations, they can relieve parental frustration. Nevertheless, these are only instant solutions, in the long term, they can result in both mental and physical pains. It is advisable for adults to use verbal explanation to teach ethical issues, as well as allowing children to take responsibility of their negative behaviors.
All things considered, I personally opine that it cannot be a conducive measure to make regulations which are compulsory for offsprings. Others positive ways of unbringing should be take into account instead of physical forces.
