The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.
The bar graph elucidates the classical albums purchased by the different age group and sex in England.
In all cases, around 20% of British people with over 45 of age bought classical albums which indicate as the highest portion amongst other age groups. This is closely followed by people with mid-twenties. Those adults have chosen to buy classical music (of just over 15%) meanwhile; the rest of age groups showed the minimal listening in this category as around 4% for 35-44 age groups and above 0% for teenage groups.
However, there are differences among genders in the preferences in classic music. It is noticeable that, slightly more men listened to classic music than women; almost 10% for the former and approximately 6% for the latter.
It is apparent that, the classical music is popular amongst oldest groups (with age over 45) regardless of gender, whilst there is a lesser preference in classic album purchased by women and young people.
