It can be clearly seen that the majority of people in Liverpool preferred apartments, while semi-detached houses were the most popular choices in London and Manchester. In addition, terraced houses registered the lowest figures shown in three cities.
Turning to the chart for more details, apartments were the most common option for residents in Liverpool with about 58%, while those in London and Manchester were significantly lower, at just under 30% and 20% respectively. About 38% of people in London and Manchester favored semi-detached houses, which was nearly a half of those in London (19%).
Looking at the others, people in Manchester preferring detached houses accounted for about 35% of the total votes, compared to about 25% and 15% those in London and Liverpool respectively. Terraced houses were a much less popular choice, with just below 20% of residents in London and around 10% of those in Liverpool and Manchester selecting them.
