The line graph compares figures for 3 types of unhealthy foods
different consumed by the Mauritian adolescence between 1985
and 2015.
The initial impression from graph is that there were two opposite
trends for these 3 figures. While the number of hamburgers and
fried chicken eaten during the year by the Mauritian teens keep
going up, the number of people who eaten pizza declined over the
same period.
Starting at a lowest point, the consumption of fried chicken by
teenagers rocketed rapidly to 60 times per year in 2005, but later it
remains steady in the next 5 years. After remaining static from
2005 to 2010, that figure growth moderately at 62 times per year.
In addition, hamburgers consumed by adolescence soared quickly
from 10 times to more than 70 times per year and reached the
highest compared to the other 2 foods in the last year.
Turning into the downward trend of the other two, pizza is fast
food consumed by the Mauritian teenagers tumbled swiftly to
about 20 times in 2010, and then it continued to plummet to the
lowest point at 10 times per year until 2015.
