Overall, it can be clearly seen that the percentage of the young attending higher education in countries A, C, and D increased, except for country B. In addition, nation D had the highest proportion of young people in higher education, while the lowest figures were seen in country B in all three years.
Turning to the chart for the detail, in 2000, young people who attended higher education accounted for 45% of the total of number of people in country D, in comparison with 35% of those in country A. During the following 10 years, these figures grew significantly to end the period, at about 60% and 58% respectively.
In terms of the other countries, the percentage of youngster in higher education made up 40% of the country B’s population, which was lower than that of country C (42%). Over the next 10 years, the figure for nation B remained relatively unchanged, despite a minimal drop in 2005. By contrast, the figure for country C rose slightly to about 48% throughout the following 5 years, before staying stable in the last 5 years.
