The pie charts compare how much energy production was created in a region between 1983 and 2003.
What stands out from the graph is that while the percentage of Hydropower remains unchanged, other energies had fluctuations over 20 years. Besides, Oil was the energy which was generated most during the period shown.
Looking at the graph for more details, The proportion of oil made up the highest figure at 42% in 1993, then it continued its downward trend in the next 20 years, with 38% but it still ranked at the high point. Following that, Coal had the same trend as oil, the figure for coal contributed 23% at the beginning but then declined markedly by 10% in 2003.
On the other hand, the proportion of Nuclear power made up 20% but after 20 years, it started growing up moderately to approximately three-quarters at the end of the period. Similarly, Natural Gas also went up from 11% to 21% over the 20 years but instead of decreasing or rising, Hydropower stood in its place during the period given at 4%.
