The table below presents the food consumption per person weekly in a European country in 1992, 2002 and 2012.
The given table illustrates data on the amount of food was consumed by each individual weekly in a European country in three years in 1992, 2002 and 2012.
Overall, all food consumption increased slightly year on year except meat in 2012. Vegetables were the most consumed food over the course of the year, and cheese was the least eaten food.
The highest portion of people’s food intake was the number of vegetables consumed at 2140 grams, followed by the amount of meat consumed at 1148 grams. Vegetable consumption increased gradually over the years and reached 2220 grams in 2002. The proportion of meat witnessed a small rise of more than 60 grams before dropping back to 1132 grams in 2012.
For cheese, with 113 grams usage, it was the lowest consumption in 1992 and remained the same after for 125 grams. Beans were likely half of meat in 1992, and had 546 grams and 590 grams in 2002 and 2012. The number of wheat used was 837 grams in 1992 but after a decade it was near 1KG consumption in 2012.
