The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The pair of maps above illustrate the difference in the street layout of a city's medical institution between the two years of 2007 and 2010.
Overall, in the three years between the two timestamps, the road to the hospital saw some considerable upgrades, in addition to the overhaul of several infrastructures around it, namely the bus terminals and parking lot.
Looking at the two maps, we can see that the direction of all the roads remains unchanged. However, various notable additions were added in the later year, for instance, the appearance of the two new roundabouts at the intersection of Hospital Road with the Ring Road surrounding the infirmary and the City Road running parallel to the hospital, each respectively.
In 2007, along the Hospital Road going straight into the hospital were a number of bus stops and a parking area on the northeast corner of its conjunction with City Road. A bus station then replaced the depots the following year, located on the left side of the road section within the two rotaries. A new car park was constructed on the right side of the hospital for public use, while the old one was reserved for employees only.
