The given diagram illustrates the series of steps involved in the production of sugar from the sugar cane.
Overall, the whole procedure for producing sugar entails a total of seven steps, starting with growing up sugar cane and culminating with drying and cooling process of sugar crystals. Moreover, the process takes more than a year and requires the use a number of specialized pieces of machinery, including limestone filter, evaporator, and centrifuge.
In terms of producing sugar cane, sugar cane, which is the main component, is planted and waited until grow for 12-18 months. The next step is harvesting sugar cane either by machine or manual.
Regarding the crystal production stage, sugar cane is crushed to obtain juice. Having been purified by limestone filter, the juice is entered to a evaporator to produce syrup. Following this step, it is moved to centrifuge for separating sugar crystal from syrup before being dried and cooled in a container.
