The diagram below shows the recycling process of aluminium cans. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram demonstrates how aluminium cans are collected andcoverted into new ones.
Overall, it can be seen that there are 7 prominent steps in this process, beginning with aluminium cans thrown in the trash and finishing with reused products.
First, when used aluminium cans are in the recycle bin, they are accumulated with and delivered with lorries to the factory responsible for recycling. It is followed by the cleaning stage involving getting rid of impurities, then people sort them into different categories. Next, aluminium cans are shredded and compressed into patches. They are heated and melt at comparatively high temperatures for the purpose of getting aluminium liquid.
The aluminium sheet is formed from that liquid before rolled with 2.5mm-6mm thick. At the following stage, aluminium rolls are used in order to produce new aluminium cans. Finally, these cans are refilled with distinct beverages and sold in stores, which take up 74 percent of aluminum cans in the UK.
