Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making comparisons where relevant
The graph illustrates the proportion of Australian exports to 4 countries from 1990 to 2012.
Overall, it can be seen from the chart that Japan and the US have a downward trend in the ending years, while the remaining 2 countries tend to be developed. At the end of the period, China had the highest exports, followed by other countries.
Looking at the graph in more detail, Japan’s figure was significantly higher than other countries in 1990, more than 25%, but that figure was strongly decreased from 1995 to 2012. In contrast, China’s exports in 1990 were only 3%, but that number has changed dramatically since 2000, then gradually increased until 2012.
The percentage of exports from the US fluctuated around 10% between 1990 and 2000. It declined to 5% in 2010 but recovered slightly and finished at 6% in the final year. Similarly, India’s data from 1990 to 2000 weren’t changed and overtook the US at 7% in 2010, but ended slightly lower than the US.
