The chart illustrates the number of households in the United States based on their annual income in three different years: 2007, 2011, and 2015.
Overall, the chart shows an slight increase in the number of households across all income categories from 2007 to 2015. In 2007, the largest group of households fell into the $100,000 or more income bracket, followed closely by the $25,000-$49,999 and less than $25,000 bracket. By 2011, the $25,000-$49,999 bracket become the largest, there WAS also a significant increase in the number of households with incomes less than $25,000 per year and the $100,000 or more bracket slight decrease. And in 2015, there was a small dip in the number of households with less than $49,999 brackets, likely due to the economic recession.
The lowest income bracket of under $25,000 suffered the least significant changes, while the highest income bracket of $100,000 or more had the most significant changes.
In 2015, all income brackets had exceeded their of 2007 levels. Overall, the chart demonstrates a gradual increase in the number of households across all income categories over the three years observed. However, there was also a significant increase of number of household in 2015 compared to 2007.
