The given diagrams below depict the proportion of male and female aged 60-64 in employment in four regions in the period of 30 years from 1970 to 2000.
Looking from all perspective, it is readily apparent that man whose age from 60-64 have a tendency to engage in work more than woman across all countries. Of all the countries, Japan recorded the largest shares of both male and female workforce entering their early 60s during the entire period.
Concerning the male workforce, in 1970, 76% of male entering thier early 60s still worked, followed by USA and Australia with the figure bening recorded at 55% and 47% correspondingly and Belgium was the country with the least male worker record, at 19%. After 30 years, the figure of all countries witnessed a upward inclination, Japan was still the countries with most male labourer which is recorded at 84% and higher than figure of Australian and USA by 10% and 11% respectively. Belgium observed an impressive plunge to 79%, taking the second position.
In terms of female employee aged 60 and older, Japan was still the leading countries in 1970, it made up 40% of female worker, after which saw a minimal change to 43% in 2000, the highest proportion among all countries. Turning to USA and Australia, the record of both regions had a tendency to fall with the figure being reorded at from 38% to 36% and 19% to 18% respectively. For the Belgium, the country had least proportion of female labourer among all countries with little change from 7% to 8% between 1970 and 2000.
