The given bar chart provides information about the proportion of females and males aged in the 18-20 age bracket engaging in different outdoor activities in a month in 2015
Overall, hockey was the least popular sport in both genders. In addition, women had the highest share in cycling and swimming, while the highest figures for men were reported in basketball, football, and hockey.
There was a significant difference between the proportions of males and females in football, with the former standing first with 51%, threefold to that of the latter. The disparity between the two figures was almost the same in basketball and hockey. In the former, men accounted for around 33%, threefold to that of women. Meanwhile, in that latter, the figure for males made up roughly 11%, twofold to that of their counterparts.
With regard to the remaining sports, the rate of women taking part in cycling was higher than men with 40%, compared to only around 36% of men. Additionally, in swimming, the contribution of females taking part in swimming reached 36%, which was nearly two times as high as that of males.
