The lecture and the reading both discuss studying literature-novels .While the reading states that recently many young people do not spend a time to read kinds of literature and novels and it cause many negative effects on culture. The lecture refutes this, saying that people often read less than the past because of this book lack of quality.
First, the reading claims that nowadays the readers of literature become decline and intellectual stimulation does not provide by anybody and by less reader we miss the advantages of literature. However, the lecture argues that literature does not intellectual stimulation and for example science, history and so on do not have high qualities and just they are general books.
In addition, the reading makes the argument that missing the advantages of literature not only a problem, people like to read books which have written by professional writers and spend more time to watch movies and listen to music and other entertainments which represent a poor culture. The lectures counter this point by stating people by reading favorite books and watch movies do not represent poor cultures but the important thing is that the culture becomes change .
Lastly, the reading passage argues that the writers have a talent to write literature but do not have good supports by good writers and the lecture refutes this claim by pointing out that most of literature are difficult to understand or maybe the writer has the fault.
