The reading passage states that the policy requiring companies to offer employees to work a four-day and provide tree reasons of support. However, the professor explains that this changing will have negative effect on employees and companies profits.
According to the lecture the professor told that for day week will reduce profits, economics and life qualities of employees. Firstly, companies will spent a lot of money on medical insurances and trainings for new workers.Moreover, for new workers company must organize work's places that require a big count of money. Secondly, a short week will not allow to hire a workers, because companies do not have enough resources for it. That is why workers will do the same count of work during for days week. Finally, employees will have more free time that can increase a risk for their life and they can lost their professional skills during long weekends. It will have negative effect on their career.
In contrast, the author explains that this changing will have a lot of advantages. First of all, the shortened workweek would increase company profits,because workers will have more time for a rest.
