Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to let you know that I was expected to arrive on the 22nd of January 2017 for an interview scheduled in your organization.
Firstly, I would like to offer my sincere apologies in case of any inconvenience caused. I was supposed to reach to your office at 10 a.m on 22nd January 2017 but due to the heavy traffic, it almost became impossible to reach to your organization on time.
Secondly, I would appreciate if you can kindly change the interview date to 18th February 2017, as that would help me to plan the things in advance for my interview and can even help me to score better in interview.
Thirdly, the position for which I have applied at your organization is the one for which I was eagerly for the past 6 months and this can help me to hone my skills and facilitate growth in my career.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Best,
FaizalReza
