The diagrams below show the life cycle of a species of large fish called the salmon.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagrams illustrate the evolution progress of a salmon from the egg to an adult salmon. During their life, the salmons experience three different stages which are fry, smolt, and adult salmon in three different areas.
To begin with, a salmon egg which is laid in the upper river opens to a fry which is 3-8 centimetre long. The fry immediately moves to the lower river where contains fresh water that he will spend approximately 4 years until he reach the size of a smolt.
The second stage of the progress occurs when the middle-size salmon called the smolt migrate from freshwater area to the ocean. The smolt can reach to the length of 15 centimetre and it continuingly grow up for 5 years in the environment of saltwater.
The final stage of the salmon progressive process happens when the fish turns to its adult stage and it is in need of having offspring. The adult salmon make its final migration in life from the open sea to the upper river where it can lay the eggs into the reeds and its life cycle ends.
