The reading passage discuss about various causes of frog population declined or extinct due to change of environment and it provide three causes of frog population declined and it's solution. The lecture cast doubt on the claims made in the article. the professor think that this solution are not effective in case of frog preservation.
First, the reading passage claim that frog harmed by pesticides that why harmful pesticide are prohibited in near sensitive frog population. That help to reduce the declination of frog. However, the listening section refute this point by saying that it is unjustice for local farmer who are prohibited from the use of pesticides. it reduce the crop production that why farmer are facing economic problem.
Secondly, the reading argued that fungus are another causes of frog declination . most of the frog are die of dehydration .it's solution is anti-fungal medication and treatments at large scale. the lecture are not support that point because it's a high costly and time consuming process. This type of treatment take long time every season every individual frog have to give antifungal medicine and they are next generation.
Finally, the reading passage stats that some time natural and man-made activity are also causes declines the frog population. Excessive use of water and wetland draining affect the frog to destroy the frog egg. However, the professor oppose this point by saying that global warming are on of the causes of water level fluctuation and excessive use of water.
