Year being 1992, presented pie chart picturizes the employment patterns for both the sexes in Great Britain. A glance at the charts reveals striking differences as well as similarities among sexes in the type of work they are engaged.
Digging into the details about work by women, Just above 30% of the women are engaged in clerical and related employments. A similar portion is also observed in Managerial and Professional works. If we combine the non-manual professions handled by women, we will find that majority of the females were engaged in that in 1992. Only 31% of the females did manual labor work back then.
Going for the numbers of their counterparts, A striking contrast in the proportions can be observed when we talk about the Clerical occupations. A quite similar case is the manual work related to crafts, where the male engaged were quite higher than the females.
