The provided line graph illustrates percentage of people 65 and above in 100 years period from 1940 to 2040 in USA, Sweden and Japan. It is apparently seen that all compared countries showed rising tendency over the period. However over the time Japan experienced descended trend at the beginning.
According to the data USA and Sweden represented similar growing tendency with about 7 and 9 per cent in 1940, ended up in 2040 with 25 and nearly 23 per cent respectively. From 1980, both countries showed a descended tendencies and remained dropping, but in about 1990, in Sweden, population 65 and over started significantly growing reaching 20 per cent in 2010. Sweden as the only one compared country illustrated over the period fluctuated effect, but ended up with remarkable difference.
It is clear from the data that aged population in Japan had a falling tendency and remained steady till roughly 1990. After that as USA and Sweden, Japan presented ascending trend, when in about 2030, sharply rose from 10 per cent to 25 per cent respectively, ended up with about twenty-seven per cent in 2040.
