The graph shows the results of a survey of British public figures that people can recognise from their photographs.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

The graph illustrates levels of public recognition for 4 British figure based on their photographs among 4 different age groups.

As can be seen from the graph, it is obvious that among the 4 groups surveyed, the 41 to 60 age group does the best job at recognising public figures whereas the performance of those aged 20 and less seems to be the least impressive.

In details, the Queen is the most recognized, with everyone aged 21 and above and the vast majority of those who are under 20 being to identify her. The Prime Minister is recognized by up to 90% of people aged 41 to 60, followed by the 80% of the 21-40 group, around two thirds of the over 60 group and only half of the youngest age group.

Chancellor and Mayor of London are both identified by only 20% of those under 20. However, while the fomer is identifiable for up to 70% of people aged over 40, the later is more recognized across the 21-40 and 41-60 age groups (both at 60%).
