Before us, there are two pie charts representing a ten year period, between 2000 and 2010, where it is described the percentages of British students studying in a University in the UK, that can speak a second language.
Overall, the majority speaks another language, that is represented by the Spanish language throughout the 10 year period. In contrast, only a smaller portion of the students doesn't know any other dialect.
Firstly, the main spoken language, Spanish, remain fairly constant throughout the years, increasing only by 5%, from the 30% of students in 2000. Moreover, the same increase was verified by the ones who know another language or even two others idioms reaching the percentages of 20% and 15%, respectively.
In the other hand, there is been a decrease in 5% on the students that know only French and especially in those that do not know any language, having a significant drop in half. Finally, the ones that speak German remained constant during the studied years.
