Mid Autumn Festival

The Mid - Autumn Festival is a special festival in many countries, includes Vietnam, China, Korea, etc. It takes place on the 15th of August and lasts on day. On this day, the moon is full. The streets are decorated with colorful lanterns. Schools for kids are also beautifully decorated. Moon cakes are sold at every corner of the street. At Mid - Autumn festival, people go to the market to buy flowers, moon cakes, lanterns,.... Moon cakes are gift which people give to each other. Children holds their lanterns and going along the street, make the lanterns parades. Many folk games are playing by children. They sings and dance together. Adults are prepare flowers, foods and have a family reunion. They pray for the good things under the full moon. The Mid - Autumn is a special festival because it's a time for family members meet each other and children relax after a long time go to school
