Every year on August 15th of lunar month, there is a Mid-Autumn Festival. This festival is present in many countries including Vietnam, China, Korea, etc. It lasts for 1 day. We can see a lot of changes during that day such as: the streets decorated with lanterns, moon cakes will be sold on street corners, kindergartens are also beautifully decorated. In the night we will see a very bright full moon. Mid Autumn Festival, people have lots of works like buy flowers, moon cakes, fruit platter for offering the Moon. Children will often receive paper lanterns or batteries of different shapes: rabbits, chickens, frogs, cars, planes from parents. That day, the children in the neighborhood always walked around the neighborhood singing and singing, listening to the adults telling stories and playing jubilantly by the lanterns. This atmosphere is very fun and makes everyone feel very excited. Family members often wish for good things to come to them under the full moonlight. Mid-Autumn Festival is also an opportunity for the whole family to reunite together. It is very sacred and full of meaning.
