Governments should hire accomplished filmmakers to create films that deliver important public messages.
In recent age, movies are more focused on more technology, romance and thriller. Ongoing trend is reflected as a public interest of watching movies of mentioned genre. Filmmakers considers a movie production as a profitable business and eventually leads to create movies in which public is interested to welcome movie on big screen. In era of such competition, motto of movie makers is anything but providing social message to society. Situation can be mitigated with the help of government funding to those filmmakers who are willing to take such initiatives and not looking film production as a profitable trade.
Government shall also instigate movie making competitions and shall started funding scholarship or finance to winners. Neophyte talents are hungry for opportunities not for money. And by such government initiative, many such novice film makers get platform to showcase their talent. It is win-win situation for government and film makers those are willing to spread social messages. Accolades shall also be given at the end of the year to the best movies who convince relatively the best public message to society. Oscar nomination and award distribution is the best suitable example which shall be simulated at regional level or country level too.
Generally, public message oriented movies are not found interesting by many people and apparently they lost interest in such movies. Because of similar reason, people start loosing interest in public message movies and short films, which may lead to detrimental effects to government initiatives. So, funding is not only factor to look upon. Maintaining interest of people shall not be undermined by fixating more on social messages. To overcome issue of lacking of public interest, historical movies can be recreated by concentracing on center message of the historical event. Many advertisement producers also used to create funny and comedy short films and/or advertisements which give best social message in the most interesting way.
Social movies can be best spreaded in the industry by inspiring and funding the film makers. This also includes providing best infrastructure and access to any sites all over the nation to explore current situation of the country and create message accordingly. Apart from this, public awareness shall be increased by free or discounted film promotion and creating movies in the most interested manner that public are looking for. Ongoing Oscar winning short-films and films can be proved best resource to learn from. Neophyte filmmakers shall take inspiration from it.
