A nation should require all of its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college.

<span style="font-family: "Open Sans", arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; white-space: normal;">Education is the process of acquisition of knowledge through various traditional techniques such as teaching, storytelling, discussions, directed research etc., A standard national curriculum is a set of study materials that every individual has to study till he or she enters the college. I mostly agree with the claim that a nation should require all its students to study same national curriculum till they enter college. Following are two examples I provide in order to support my thesis.

<span style="font-family: "Open Sans", arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; white-space: normal;">To begin with, a nation has different cultures, traditions, arts etc., Common subjects that one encounters in their curriculum generally are Mathematics, Sciences (including Physics and Chemistry), Social Studies (including Geography, History, Civis and Economics), a "Foreign Language" etc., It is not an easy task for an individual to figure which subject he or she is good at unless the person tastes a bite of each cookie. Student will have to have a basic understanding of multiple subjects even if he or she wants to eternally pursue in one direction. For example consider a person who wanted to pursue his or her long term career in the field of Biological Sciences. The student definitely would need in depth knowledge of Sciences. That does not mean he or she should neglect Mathematics. Most of the nature is defined by Mathematics. For example if one wants to study the origin of Shells found in Sea, he should have knowledge on Fibonacci Series. So, to achieve this goal setting up a standard national curriculum is the most cogent and simplistic solution.

<span style="font-family: "Open Sans", arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; white-space: normal;">Additionally, if a student has to know the importance of homogeneity in the country I think setting standard national curriculum is the only way. Otherwise every student might be misguided with the notion of running towards the lucrative jobs in which they might not perform good and might not be a fruitful resource to the nation. They should get the minimal knowledge to know what they are good at.

<span style="font-family: "Open Sans", arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; white-space: normal;">On the contrary, history that the are multiple exceptions to the claim. For example consider Mathematicians such as Ramanujan etc., who stopped going to school after he reached a particular age. He is educated at home and still he is able to produce efficacious results and shaped his career thus becoming an inspiration to almost every Modern Mathematician. In contemporary world, consider child prodigies such as Petr Mitrichev from Russia, Gennady Korokevich from Belarus. They have not received any formal education from their schools and had personal educational trainers from the childhood. They are still able to acheive success in their jobs. This means that the mandate of setting up national curriculum would not matter to people if they are well guided.

<span style="font-family: "Open Sans", arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; white-space: normal;">In conclusion, as we can see from above examples it is quite evident that the standard national curriculum is a simple solution to educate the students and make them understand what want by adding bare minimal knowledge to them. We also saw that it is not the only solution. There are other ways one can achieve what he or she wants.
