Children nowadays prefer electronic games to other games and toys. Why is it happening? Is it a positive or a negative trend?

We live in epoch of Highly Developed Computer Technologies when all our daily life replace by computer. Robots soon take place of people and we will sit at home and change into a plant. Children nowadays prefer this computerized way of life and not surprising that they choose electronic games instead of other games. But is this right or wrong?

At the past decade, when computers are not been so popular and developed all children all over the world play games in the yards, play chees and checkers, football and basketball and other interesting games. This was greatly helping to enhance and develop their sociability. Some particular games also could help the children to flourish their talents. For instance, drawing is common entertainment for children, by which psychologists could discover the children's talents or even detect their possible psychological problems. Also, an important factor of this trend is communication. It is very important to develop such practical skills as communicate with other children, to be able for solve some conflicts and problems in young age, to be able to stand up for yourself. As we all know, that children who every day spend at the playing in computer games suffer from overweight. Look around, and you can notice that the majority of young generation is needless weight.

As for electronic games, I see only drawbacks in this trend. Overweight, poor eyesight, problems with communication, complexes, and mental problems are the consequences of the computer games. I think that some games include violence, crime and a lot of blood. It is influence badly on the children and in future may be very serious backwash. Nowadays we have non-educated young generation. They do not interest something at all: do not read books, watch movies or listen to music. Also, this passion of electronic games has some other consequence when many people begin to play in gambling games and to lose all money and fortune.

In conclusion, personally, I think children can use and enjoy electronic games under the parents control. However, parents should take care of the sociability of their children and don’t let these computer games to weaken their social skills.
