The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.

The pie charts provide information about the annual expenses in one of the United Kingdom schools over a 30 year period.

As it very clear from the charts the spending was divided under five different categories. The striking feature of the charts is the teachers' salaries section which fluctuated under varying degrees over the period of 1981-1991 and 2001, 40%, 50% and 45% respectively. The same amount of money(15%) was spent both for the resources and furniture equipment in 1981 which is very different in the following years. We can see that there are considerable differences in the proportions of resources in 1991 and 2001, 20% and 9 % relatively. Only tiny minority of the total amount was spent for the insurance in all three years.

Overall , the proportion for teachers' salaries was almost close to the all body of other brackets' proportions, excluding the year of 2001, where the pattern was reversed, teachers' salaries sector was only 45%.
