The bar chart compares the prevalence of various types of consumer products across four nations in 2012. All in all, the data differ significantly.
As shown in the information registered in 2012, cameras were in the dominate position in British consumer market, whereby a staggering 170,000 pounds was spent, exceeding its counterpart in Belgium. Likewise, the distinctions in toys and books between these two countries were in line with that of cameras, with its British figures standing at over 165,000 and over 160,000 in toys and books respectively. Noteworthy is the fact that, Spain and Austria witnessed a demand overtaking Belgium but surpassed by Britain in both books, toys and cameras.
In stark contrast, a different pattern was found in the remaining categories in 2012. In comparison to other countries, Britain saw the highest demand in cosmetics, outdoor game accessories and console games, while Austria invariably positioned at the bottom. For instance, Britain registered a figure over 155,000 in outdoor game accessories, overtaking its Austria counterpart, which was merely over 140,000.
Overall, among these six categories, the British generally spent more than its peer countries in 2012.
