The bar chart below shows the estimated sales of jeans for two companies next year in Turkey. The pie chart shows the projected market share of the two companies in jeans at the end of next year.
Write a short report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The two given charts forecast the income and market share of two jeans companies namely Mango Co and Jack & Jones Co in Turkey.
Overall, both charts reveal that Jack & Jones Co will predominate Mango Co in the number of jeans sold and the rate of market share in the following year despite the steady increase in the sales of Mango Co. Moreover, both companies are foreseen to be the market leader in the next year.
On the one hand, in the next half year, the sales of Jack & Jones Co. will have a sharp decrease in February to 250 thousand pairs sold. However, in the next 4 months, this indicator will surge rapidly to approximately 400 thousand pairs in June. Similar tendency can be seen in the sales of Mango Co. with slight decline to nearly 100 thousand pairs in the first month and rocket to 300 thousand pairs in the 4 following months. In the rest of the following year, Mango Co will have higher income than Jack & Jones Co in July and August. But in the next 4 months, the sales of Jack & Jones Co will surpass Mango Co with over 900 thousand pairs and 650 thousand pairs respectively in December.
On the other hand, both companies are forecasted to account for half of the jeans market. Specifically, with higher sales, Jack & Jones Co will occupy 30% of market share. While, Mango Co will take 20% of the jeans market. The rest of the market share will be the competition of the jeans companies existing in the market.
