The bar chart below shows the expenditure that people in two different countries spent on consumer goods in 2010.

The chart compares two different nations, namely France and UK, in terms of the amount of money that people spent on five categories in 2010

Overall, the proportion of spending on cars was the highest in two contries. In contrast, perfume was the kind of commodity that people in France and UK spent the least amount of money. In addition, it can be seen that British spent more money on consumer goods than people who live in France.

Regarding cars, the amount of money that peple in UK spent on it stood at approximately 450,000 pounds, which was higher than its in France/ that of France, at 400,000 pounds. Similarly, people in France did not spend on books as much as in England, with about 400,000 pounds compared to 300,000. Moreover, British spent around 350,000 pounds on cameras, doubling the figure of France

On the other hand, the spending on computers in France was more 25,000 pounds than that in UK. When its come to perfume, in France people used 200,000 whereas in British they spent only less than 150,000 pounds.
