The given bar graph illustrates how many registered male and female participants were in some evening classes at an education centre for adults in 2009. Meanwhile, another one indicates various age groups of the course members.
Overall, significantly more individuals attended the language section than any other ones whilst under-20 students accounted for the least proportion.
As can be seen from the bar chart, more women joined drama, painting and language courses than men, especially doubled in acting and language skills (20 to 10 and 40 to 20 respectively). Moreover, the sculpture class seemed to be less interesting due to the fewest numbers of attendees, which comprised only 15 students of two genders.
Looking at the age profile chart, 42% of participants of the centre aged 50 or over, which was equal to the combined proportion of 30-39 and 40-49 age groups (16% and 26% respectively). In addition, the under-20 age group enrolled in the classes constituted 5%, approximately twice less than people aged 20 to 29.
