Given are the bar chart depicting the number of learners participating in several evening courses, namely drama, painting, sculpture, language at an education centre in 2009 and the pie chart contrasting the ages of these course attendees.
Perceptibly, female participants tended to choose language as their most favorite subject painting seemed to be the most attractive to male learners. It is also noticeable in the piethat the older learners were, the more studious they were.
Regarding the bar chart, while the figure for women taking language and drama classes were double in size compared to men with 40 and 20 respectively, the opposite was true for sculpture, with 10 male participants. In addition, although painting was the most chosen course among men learners, the figure for women taking this course was still 5 people higher.
When it comes to the pie chart, nearly a half of the number of attendees were 50 and the over-50s, while the opposite was true for the under-20s, with only 5%. Additionally, the proportion of age from 40 to 49 ranked third in term of people taking these classes, followed by that of people in theire twenties and thirties, at 16% and over one in ten respectively.
