The bar graph elucidates the percentage of Australian men and women in different age group who did regular physical activity in 2010. The data has been calibrated in percentage.
It can be clearly seen from the graph that in the age group of 15 to 24 the percentage of males was higher who did physical activity in 2010 the percentage was 52.8 and 47.7 respectively. Further, in the age group of 25 to 34 the percentage of female was higher by 6.7% as compared to male who did physical activity. Moreover, femals in the age of 35 to 44 were more active in physical work as compared to males the proportion was 52.5 and 39.5 respectively.
Furthermore, it has been observed that there was negligible difference between males and females in age group of 45 to 34 and 55 to 64 who did physical activity in the year 2010. Moving ahead, the proportion was almost similar of males and females in the age group of over 65 who were physically active in 2010.
Overall, the percentage of females were higher in all the age groups accept 15 to 24. Both the sexes were equally active in the age group of over 35.
