The bar chart illustrates the percentage of physical activities by women and men, which has been categorized into several groups of age. Also, this information is gathered from Australia in the year 2010.
Looking at the bar chart, it is noticeable that only males from the age group 15 to 24 are having more percentage compare to females of that age. However, in all the other age groups except 65 and over, the percentage of physical activity done by females is higher than males with a significant margin.
Starting from the first three age groups, men from the age of 15 to 24 are at 52.8 percent, which is almost 5 percent more than the woman of their age. Conversely, females are higher than males in both 25 to 35 and 35 to 44 age groups with a percentage of 48.9 and 52.5, respectively. Moreover, men from the age group 35 to 44 are having the least percentage of physical activity, with 39.5 percent.
Moving on to the other three age groups, females have more percentage in all of these three groups. However, the gap between males and females of the age group 65 and above is negligible. Additionally, the most percentage of physical activity done by females is done by the age group of 45 to 54, with 53.3 percent.
