Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar graph explains the percentage of Australian men and women in the different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010. We can see the data as a percentage.

Men in the age group of 15 to 24 were the most active physically in the year 2010, 52.8 per cent as compared to 47.7 per cent females. In the age group of 25 to 34, females were more physically active as compared to their male counterparts. A similar trend is noticeable in the age group of 35 to 44, which shows 52.5 per cent active females as compared to just 39.5 per cent active males.

In the age groups of 45 to 54 and 55 to 64, the overall difference between physically active males and females is negligible. both age groups indicate that the females were more physically active as compared to their male counterparts in the year 2010. both males and females are equally active, with females being slightly ahead by 0.4 per cent, in the age group of 65 and over.

To summarise the data, it is clear that except in the age group of 15 to 24 Australian females were more physically active as compared to Australian males in the year 2010.
