The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
The bar graph shows information about the number of Australian male and female who participate physical activity in different age groups in 2010. It is obvious from the diagram that the main gender of regular physical activity is female in every age groups except teenager years.
To begin with male, the most popular of physical activity for men is in teenager age group which is 15 to 24 years old. It is the highest point at 52.8 %. After adolescent years, there is a dramatic drop in participation by 13.3 % to 39.5 % in 35 to 44 age group and this group is the lowest point for men. After this period, the percentage of participant increased gradually from 39.5 % to 43.1 %, 45.1 % and 46.7 % in three age group remaining respectively.
Moving on to female, teenager age group is the only one group which has doing physical activity less than male at 47.7 %. The number of women in activity grew slightly until hit a peak at 53.3 % in 45 to 54 age group. After that, there is a slow decrease by 6.2 % to 47.1 % in 65 and above age group which is the lowest point for female.
