The bar chart demonstrates the number of males and females in Australia that involved in frequent exercise in 2010 from 15 to above 16 years of age.
Overall, more females participated in physical activity compared to their male counterparts. Also, the percentage of middle-aged men (35 to 44 years) was the lowest why the number of both gender was almost similar at old age.
For males, the highest peak of exercise was seen among young males (52.8%) occuring in 15 to 24 years age bracket, this took a plummeted fall from young adulthood to early 40's and began to significantly rise until old age to 46.2%.
On the other hand, females' physical workout saw a gradual increase from 15 to 24 years and reached a climax of 53.3% in their mid-40s to early 50s and substantial sharp decline is noted when they began to age.
