The two charts illustrate single-occupant household in Englang in the year 2011. The first chart compares the ratio of those in terms of age distribution by gender in the year 2011 while another chart gives information about how many bedrooms these one-households had in the same year.
Overall, it can be seen from charts that females made up a higher percentage of people living alone than males. In addition, it is noticeable that the most popular number of bedrooms was 2 bedrooms in a single-occupant home.
To begin with, a remarkable majority of the people aged 65 or over who were living alone in english in 2011 were women. British females accounted for approximately 72% of single-occupants aged 75 to 84 compared to nearly 76% of those living alone from 85 onwards. Conversely, among younger adults from 16-49 years old the figure for male were higher than female. The highest proportion of single males off this category were between 35 and 49 years old at 65%. In addition, there was exactly the same in the ratio of both genders who were 50 to 64 years old living solo throughout the year 2011.
According to the pie chart, 35.4% of one-person households in England had 2 bedrooms followed by 29.8% and 28% of those had 3 bedrooms and 1 bedroom respectively. Meanwhile, there was only close to 7% of single-occupant homes having four and more bedrooms.
