The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014 Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The bar graph compares the electricity production and consumption in 2014 between ten countries, where the figures were the biggest in the world. Overall, there were two countries, namely China and the USA, with the most different numbers from others.

It can be seen from the chart that production of the electricity was considerably more than consumption by approximately 100-200 billion kilowatt-hour. However, three entries from the ranking did not follow this trend, specifically, China with a difference of 76 kWh, the Republic of Korea with 35.6 kWh, and Russia with only 19 kWh gap. Additionally, Germany had the opposite situation, where consumption is greater than production, at 582.5 and 526.6.

Speaking of ranking, two leaders of it had significantly higher numbers in comparison with the remaining options. China produced 5,398 and consumed 5,322 kWh of electricity and exceeded Russia's figures by five times, whereas the United States had 4,099 and 3,866, which is four times higher than in Russia.
