The bar chart describes the sales of different goods in pounds ( £) in the UK over four seasons in 2015
The bar graph compares the turnover (in pounds) for five different items in the UK over four seasons in 2015.
Overall, it can be observed that sales for all categories experienced significant variations according to season. In addition, clothing had by far the highest figure for turnover throughout this period.
Clothing, electrical equipment both had significant fluctuations in sales, which followed a U-shaped pattern, increasing from £100000 and £60000 in spring to £110000 and £80000 in the winter respectively. Similarly, their income had slight drops in summer and autumn before increasing later in winter.
At the other end of the scale, children’s toy were the least popular over the period, except for the final season where the figure grew to £60000 in sales, exceeding the revenues of garden items, which had the lowest data with under £20000. Finally, although household sales figures were popular in the first three seasons, with sales of around £80000 in Spring, at the end of 2015, its revenues ended up to have the second lowest place.
