The column chart delineates the quantity of weekly working duration that males and females spend on their occupation in the year 2007.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is obvious that the majority of individuals in both genders allocate their time to work about 30-50 hours per week, meanwhile, those who were work below 10 hours per week were in the minority.
As is presented in the chart, it can be seen that a higher percentage of women who work under 20 hours per week, almost doubled in comparison with men, 15% with the figure for under 10 and 22% with the figure for the 10-20 group. In addition, the figure for both genders was equal in the quantity of people who work over 80 hours weekly, approximately 10% of the total population.
Turning to the number of residents who work in the 30-50 and 50-80 hours per week cohorts, we can also see that the proportion of males was noticeably higher than females. Particularly, nearly 45% and 30% of men work weekly 30-50 and 50-80 hours respectively, meanwhile, the females in these two groups work 35% and 28% in turn.
