The bar chart elucidates the proportion of house works with cars in a European country over a period of 30 years from 1971 to 2001.
Overall, households without cars were highly preferred at the beginning of a year, however, the highest percentage of residents utilized their transport for these works at the end of the period.
To begin with, home duties without any transportation experienced a peak, that was almost 50 percent, whilst 35 percent of duties have done by a car and just 25 percent of them performed by more than two vehicles in 1971. However, the rate of the house works lacking a car is constantly declined from 40 percent in 1981 to 30 percent in 2001. Subsequently, the percentage of works with any transit is accelerated to 40 percent in 1981 and approximately 50 percent in 2001, with the notable exception of 38 percent in 1991.
Moreover, home occupations with more than two cars were more considered and its rate increased from 31 percent in 1981 to merely 40 percent in 2001, but it made up only 28 percent in 1991.
